Planview's Linda Roach Recipient of the 2012 Stelos Alliance Award

Austin, TX — May 2, 2012 — Stelos Alliance, an organization dedicated to helping extraordinary young leaders, selected Linda Roach, vice president of marketing with Planview, for an inaugural Stelos Alliance Award. Roach was honored with the award on April 29 at the Stelos Alliance Awards banquet in San Marcos, Texas, for her diligent efforts to employ and empower college students to become great leaders.

"In today's job environment it can be very difficult for recent university graduates, even the most exceptional and driven," explains Gregory S. Gilmore, president and COO, Planview. "Linda has made it a priority to assist the young and talented as they try to jumpstart a career; her work is certainly deserving of this honor."

Linda was instrumental in formalizing Planview's internship program, which works with Central Texas universities to provide students with real-world job experience. By exposing students to the workplace atmosphere under close mentoring, the internship program helps round out their education and enhances their chances of securing employment after graduation.

In 2011, Stelos established the Stelos Alliance Award to honor individuals and organizations who continue the mission of assisting dynamic young leaders in their path to success post-graduation by providing scholarships, fellowships and internships to recruit, utilize, mentor and grow promising young people into the principled leaders of tomorrow.
